Cri-Help Course Report - 02/07/2006 to 03/14/2006
Instructors: Tony, Becky, Jason, Daryl
Overall, the class progressed as planned. Some students were wayyy beyond the level of instruction we provided, while some could have used more thorough instructions and more lecture time. The Students could definitely have benefited more from extended lecture time. We rarely had enough time to finish the materials.
What caught me by surprise were the students’ typing skills. Most were not that bad and with little practice, will be proficient with it.
It was nice to see students help each other. Kalem was helping Ingrid tremendously, and it was fun to see Ingrid’s confidence soar later on in the course. Additionally, it was very gratifying when Felix came to me and asked me to help him. He really wanted to get through with it, and it was a pleasure working with him and to see him smile at the end.
I regret not being at the graduation ceremony. After all, it was the students that kept me motivated to go. I should have finished it and seen their faces… All indifferences aside. Course Reports
